All You Need to Know

At The Crafty Little Fox we strive to give our customers the most enjoyable shopping experience possible. We ensure our store policies are fair, clear and transparent. Read on to see all our policies below. If you can’t find the exact information you’re looking for, please get in touch and we’ll do our very best to help you out.

Returns Policy

We can only accept items returned to us within 28 days from the date your order was dispatched.

Items must be returned to us in an unused condition, deemed fit for resale.  Personalised items are not accepted for return unless damaged or defective.  Please contact us prior to returning your item so we can work with you to try and fix any issues you may have.

The items are your responsibility until they reach us; therefore, it is advisable to use a tracked delivery service or first class post with a proof of postage.

As soon as we receive your return we will process your exchange/refund request straight away and send you an email to confirm this.  Where possible we process all returns on the day they have been received back to us so we can provide as efficient a service as possible.

If a discount was applied to your order, the amount refunded will be adjusted accordingly.

If you have received a faulty or incorrect item, or if you are not happy with an aspect of your order we can only apologise.  Please contact us prior to returning your item so that we can sort this for you.

General Data Protection Regulation Policy (GDPR)

This Privacy Policy describes how and when we collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from us, contact us, or otherwise use our services through thecraftylittlefoxshop.com or its related sites and services.

1. What personal information we collect?

To fulfil your order, you must provide us with certain information, such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide us with additional personal information (for a custom order of drinkware, for example), if you contact us directly.

2. Why do we collect this information?

We require your name and address to ensure that your order is delivered correctly.  We also need your email address to be able to contact you regarding any queries about your order or send you previews/mock ups where necessary. We also rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:

  • As needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;

  • When you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for my mailing list;

  • If necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law

3. Do we share your data?

We do need to provide details such as your full name and address to trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies.  We will share your information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

We may collect, use, retain, and share your information if we have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.

4. Data storage

We have 2 laptops in our possession used to access any data supplied to us.  These are both kept securely and are password protected.  We also employ all the necessary security measure on these laptops to ensure data is saved securely.  We do not store any hard copies of your data.  The only item printed is a shipping label which is affixed to your order.  Second copies of this are not produced.

The information collected during the checkout process is stored on our website server. The Crafty Little Fox website is hosted through Wix and they employ the following security measures to ensure all of the data collected is secure;

  • Wix employ full-time security consultants, dedicated to the security of customer information.

  • Wix is Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) compliant and is accredited as a level 1 service provider and merchant. This standard helps create a secure environment by increasing cardholder data, thus reducing credit card fraud. They regularly perform internal security audits to maintain our ISO/PCI security certifications.

  • Wix’s signup and login services are completed through a secure server (HTTPS/SSL).

  • Wix uses cryptography hash functions to protect information. Password are stored as a hash digest and, in the event of a security breach, original passwords cannot be recovered from our servers.

  • Wix is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-US privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce, regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States, and therefore adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles.

  • Wix is currently developing the tools to allow the right to access and the right to be forgotten, which will meet GDPR requirements.

 5.  Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as described in our Privacy Policy. However, we may also be required to retain this information to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. We generally keep your data for the following time period: 4 years.

6. Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU

We may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, we may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If we are deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, we rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.
